Just a few weeks ago, I had the honor of photographing this sweet newborn baby boy in the gorgeous Marina neighborhood of San Francisco. I could tell, from the moment I stepped into their apartment, that these two new parents were pretty smitten with their little man. I'm pretty sure they spend hours a day just staring at his sweet little face... and I don't blame them, this little guy is just as handsome as his mom and dad! And check out their adorable nursery. I'm in love with the calm neutral tons, with just a splash of orange. It seems to fit their family's personality perfectly!
When I meet new families like this one, I always wonder what I would have been like during a newborn session with my first. We didn't have our own newborn photos taken (sadness!), but I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have seemed as calm as these two. They were so comfortable in their own skin, worked together seamlessly to calm sweet baby boy, and we sneaking little jokes and giggles with each other during our whole time together. I'd love to think that I was as cool as these two cats with their new little addition ;)
Have I mentioned the view? Gorgeous. Simply Gorgeous. And so fitting for this adorable young family. They were sweet enough to let me get a few shots of them out on their balcony, which overlooks the San Francisco Bay, with views of the Palace of Fine Arts and a sneak peek of the Golden Gate Bridge. I left this session feeling so grateful for such amazing clients in such an amazing city.
